What ezyVet does well
- Real depth for specialty, emergency and teaching hospitals, with Vet Radar treatment sheets natively integrated; IDEXX steers its high-caseload customers here.
- A long published integration list: Antech, IDEXX and Zoetis labs, IDEXX VetLab Station and VetConnect PLUS, MWI, Covetrus and NVS ordering, Xero accounting, Otto and Zoom telemedicine, more than a hundred in all.
- A published starting price and contract structure on its own pricing page, which most enterprise vendors do not offer.
- A contractual uptime commitment, 99.8 percent per calendar month, written into the governing terms rather than marketing copy.
- Customer data ownership stated plainly in the terms, and, outside North America, a defined export mechanism.
- An honest AI posture: the AI-Assisted Notes page says it is in beta, that it may misinterpret details, that the clinician stays responsible, and that any future charge comes with 30 days' notice.

Questions clinics ask about ezyVet and Bittsi
Is ezyVet more expensive than Bittsi?
Compare the whole first year, not the first line. ezyVet starts at $260.50 a month, with implementation and data conversion quoted separately, a six-month initial term, and client engagement through Vello at a further $249 a month. Bittsi starts at $249 a month on Foundation with one veterinarian included and unlimited staff; Standard is $379, or $249 with Bittsi Pay; reminders and messaging are included, there is no setup fee, it is month to month, and migration is included on annual billing. For a clinic that wants no term and no implementation invoice, Bittsi is the simpler bill; for a large hospital that will use ezyVet's depth, the comparison is about capability, not price.
If my lab is IDEXX, should I just use ezyVet?
Not necessarily. Bittsi's IDEXX integration covers the reference laboratory, in-house analyzers and imaging, and your IDEXX contract stays exactly as it is. The difference is commercial: with IDEXX 360 the software can sit inside your diagnostics commitment; with Bittsi it never does.
How hard is it to move from ezyVet to Bittsi?
We give you one fixed migration quote before you sign, load a sandbox with your own data, move clients, patients, history, prescriptions, reminders and balances, verify every row against the source, and go live in about 14 days with role-based training. Your team keeps seeing patients throughout. ezyVet's own terms say you own your data; ask them in writing for the export mechanism that applies to your region.
Can I get my data out of either system?
From Bittsi, yes, free, in standard formats, whenever you like. ezyVet's terms outside North America provide an export on ten business days' written request; the North America and EMEA general terms state that you own the data but do not describe how it is returned. Get the clause in writing before you sign, as you should with any vendor.
Does Bittsi work with IDEXX analyzers and the reference lab?
Yes. IDEXX Laboratories, IDEXX Imaging and Antech Diagnostics are built in: order, receive and chart results without leaving the record, with imaging thumbnails on the visit. Your IDEXX contract stays exactly as it is. If you run Zoetis point-of-care analyzers, ask us; our integrations roadmap is built from clinic requests.
Which is better for a large or multi-site hospital?
ezyVet has the longer record in university and referral hospitals. Bittsi runs the hospital floor too: live treatment sheets, an anesthesia sheet charted from the monitor, dental, inventory and reporting are built in and included in Standard. Published pricing covers up to ten veterinarians per clinic; for more than that, or a referral hospital, talk to us and we will price it for your group.
