From signature to opening day, and what it costs at each step.

Most software starts charging the day you sign. We start on the day a client can walk through your door.

1Tell us your opening date.A 30-minute call, then an order form with the opening date written in. That date is when billing starts. Nothing is charged before it, for up to 180 days.
2We build the clinic with you.Catalog and price list, reminder rules, forms, SOAP templates, staff accounts, lab and payment setup, and training for the people you hire. One named launch lead from now until opening.
3Doors open. Standard starts at $249 a month.Treatment Sheet, Anesthesia Sheet, Dental Chart and analytics included from day one. Your first card payment runs through Bittsi Pay on the free terminal.
4After the first year, month to month.Standard continues at the regular price with no contract, and drops back to $249 for as long as Bittsi Pay is your primary processor.

Why we can do this

An empty clinic costs us almost nothing to host, and a practice that opens on Bittsi tends to stay for a decade. We would rather earn the first year than bill the months before it.

What this is not

Not a trial, and not a discount that expires into a price rise. The platform you set up before opening is the platform you run on opening day, and the year-one price is in writing.

Straight answers.

Do I pay anything before we open?

No. From the day you sign until your opening date there is no subscription charge, for up to 180 days. You use that time to set the clinic up with us. Billing starts on the opening date written in your order form.

What if my opening date moves?

Construction slips. You can move the date once, in writing, inside the 180-day window. If it slips further than that, the account pauses until you set a new date. Nothing is charged while it is paused.

What counts as a new practice?

A first location opening within twelve months of signing, with no practice software in live use at that location. An existing clinic adding a system, or moving from another one, uses the Switch Guarantee instead.

What do you set up before opening day?

Your catalog and price list, reminder rules, forms, SOAP templates, staff accounts, lab and payment setup, and training for the team you hire. You get one named launch lead for the whole run-up.

What happens after the first year?

Standard continues at the regular price, month to month, and drops back to $249 for as long as Bittsi Pay is your primary processor. There is no long-term contract at any point.

Do the AI add-ons start before opening too?

AI seats, Companion and Anesthesia AI start on your opening date at list price, so you are not paying for them while the building is empty. The free Scribe tier is available at any time.

Can I use my own lab and distributor?

Yes. IDEXX and Antech integrations are included, and your commitments stay yours. Bittsi is never free only because you signed a diagnostics contract.

Is there a setup fee or a charge for the import?

No. Catalog and price-list import, configuration and training are included, in the run-up and after you open. The only number on the order form is the monthly rate that starts on opening day.
